About Us
Coleman Brothers is an investment firm focused on opportunities within its home province of Newfoundland & Labrador. Operating primarily within the Province, our mandate is to create long-term value and positive economic impact for our partners, our companies, and the communities in which we operate.
Our process starts with identifying investment opportunity. Those transactions making the cut are then facilitated within our framework. Our process (and experience) driven approach ensures that our management phase is aligned with our mandate, and that the operation of our businesses are top of mind from day one.
We invest in all of our businesses, as such our capital is typically raised on a transaction-by-transaction basis. Where applicable, our investors are accredited high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and/or institutional partners.
What We Offer
Private Equity
Our Private Equity strategy delivers a combination of financial, management, and experience based capital. Given our geographic advantage, we tend to see opportunity within the family/owner business segment. Depending on the economic cycle, there are also times when corporate carve-outs, or partnerships, will deliver opportunity that exceeds our expectations for lasting value and sustainable growth.
Real Estate
We are investors through all stages of the real estate cycle. Primarily, Coleman Brothers seeks to leverage local knowledge, relationships, and partners to invest in income producing assets.
We are also open to a Buy It, Fix It, and Hold It strategy. We're not speculators. If an asset offers an attractive discount to replacement value, has a location that we believe in, and can deliver defensible value through accretive and attentive management, then we are a buyer.

Nick Coleman

Fresh out of Queens University and handpicked by Newfoundland's most charismatic banker, Nick spent two decades building a private bank operation in the Province. On the heels of retiring from his first career, Nick continues to utilize that same skill set, but this time for Coleman Brothers. His fiduciary oversight, intolerance for fiscal waste, and tactical deployment of equity keep our business teams focused, well capitalized, and with an eye towards daily operational improvement.

Rob Coleman

A twenty year career out of a master's degree resulted in Rob's multi-faceted exposure in commercial real estate. Having facilitated, constructed, negotiated, and/or purchased assets across the country, Rob continues to work on building the company's position, and is actively involved in the day to day operation and management of the companies businesses.
